My wife, Debbie, and I moved to Reach in 2014 and have discovered what a special place it is. It’s been a fantastic village to raise our children, and we value the friendliness and community spirit here. I work as an Engineering Director in one of Cambridge’s tech companies, and I’m pleased to be able to contribute from my experience to the parish council and wider village. I’m a keen fly‑fisher, which has led to my having a strong interest in wild trout and chalk‑stream restoration, so I’m delighted this is now part of our village’s nature‑recovery work. I’m also enthusiastic about butterfly conservation, and we’re fortunate to have some excellent established habitat on the Devil’s Dyke and real emerging potential in Reach Wood and on the 24 Acres.
